Q. Richard, you could say you are a Brand Name in the Building Industry!
As a young bloke, I started in this industry in Sydney in 1965 as a Rigger. The construction industry was not as regulated in those days and enormous trust and dependability was in the hands of co-workers. We took calculated risks on Cranes and Machines we were put with; … and the people we worked with; .....but we knew and trusted the competence of the people involved. Riding (standing on) the hook of the tower crane was an everyday occurrence between main streets and jobsites in Sydney and we were licensed / ticketed to do so. Now that is going back a few years! ( LOL! )
We learned how to deal with blokes and manage teams during those formative years and today come with more than 40 years experience with Cranes and Rigging Contracting.

Q. What are some of your memorable milestone over the years?
· Choosing the best machinery on the day & then followed by proven Industry results by product popularity.
· Most important milestones are learned from mistakes (yours or others) and from there, one learns to kick new & bigger goals.
· Worked and owned many Favco Tower Cranes since the 1970's.
· Bought one of the first Australian Franna Cranes off the production in the 1980's by then manufacturer Dave Francis. Now Bought out by Terex.
· Bought the first Italian Comedil Tower Cranes into Australia in 2001. Now Bought out by Terex.
· Sold 11 Tower Cranes - Hutchinson Builders .

Q, What are the highs of your day today?
Selling the best New equipment the world can offer, as we know of today.
I live and breathe Cranes and Construction Industry Projects, with daily contacts all over Australia and around the World.
Studying load charts and technical crane capacities is an essential part of my weekly routine.
